Timber of Russian coniferous tree species sourced diectly from forests is mostly used for structural shells.

Hemp (jute) and sheep's wool chosen for insulation.

Riverside Clubhouse (2011-2013)

 

​​Our recent project in the UK - a feature clubhouse for Riverside Caravan Park in Stratford-upon-Avon.

 

Fram fabricated the structural shell of the building in Russia, delivered and assembled on site in the UK.

 

Fram was also engaged in concept design development, produced carpentry design package and co-ordinated detailed architectural and structural design of the building.

 

Gross internal floor area - approx. 1200 sq.m.

Project value - approx. 2 million GBP.

Lake House (2007-2008)

A building designed for a lake-side location. A hand-crafted log-shell and a timber-frame structure from Russian pine. A wild looking interior together a large terrace to the back of the house with an impressive log-truss canopy add to the feature presence of this house.

A countryside retreat for a contemporary bourgeois tired of his city life. Hidden in between trees construction was complicated by difficult access. The log-shell hand-made in 'Canadian' style from round logs. Elements delivered and assembled individually.
